Start with the exact packaging route rather than one advertised MOQ

A stock bottle, a stock bottle with one-color printing, a multi-color decorated set and a new-mold bottle are not the same production request. Each route uses different materials, setup work, component coordination and approval steps, so the applicable quantity must be confirmed against the exact scope.

Use a published SKU, capacity and photographed configuration whenever possible. Then state the target quantity instead of asking only for the lowest number; this gives OULU a practical basis for checking live bottle availability and the complete packaging set.

Use a stock SKU when the existing bottle already fits the launch

An existing reference removes the need to define a new glass shape before quotation. Browse the in-stock perfume bottle program, keep the exact SKU attached to the enquiry and ask OULU to confirm the live quantity for that reference.

Stock status does not mean every pump, cap, decorated piece or box shares the same availability. Identify all required parts so the answer covers the proposed set rather than the glass bottle alone.

Expect color and logo decisions to affect the quantity structure

Color coating, frosting, printing, hot stamping, labels and metallic details use different setup and approval routes. Quantity may need to be reviewed per color, artwork or process rather than only as one total order number.

Send vector artwork where available, logo dimensions, placement, color count and intended finish. The decoration guide helps turn a request for a branded bottle into measurable information without assuming one MOQ for every surface or method.

Check the pump, cap and box thresholds with the bottle quantity

The bottle, sprayer, collar, cap, insert and retail box may not share one production threshold. A complete quotation should show how the selected components align with the target bottle quantity and whether any quantity difference must be resolved.

Use the private label packaging guide to define the complete set. Keep each exact component reference attached so a lower bottle quantity does not hide an incompatible or unavailable closure direction.

Treat multi-SKU and multi-color plans as separate quantity questions

A total project quantity split across several bottles, capacities, colors or logos may not be equivalent to the same quantity of one specification. State the quantity for each SKU, color and artwork rather than giving only the combined total.

If the launch requires several fragrance variants, identify which packaging elements remain common and which change. This helps separate one shared bottle or box structure from the per-variant decoration and labeling scope.

Move to custom development only when the requirement justifies it

A new bottle shape introduces geometry, neck, tooling, sampling and production questions that do not apply in the same way to an existing SKU. Use the custom bottle development process when a defined identity or function cannot be achieved with a suitable stock reference and decoration route.

Send a drawing, reference image or 3D concept, target capacity, component direction, target quantity, destination and timing. OULU confirms the mold and commercial plan only after the development scope is sufficiently defined.

Prepare the information that produces a usable MOQ answer

Send the exact SKU or design reference, quantity per version, destination, pump and cap direction, color and logo requirements, box or insert needs, artwork status and target timing. If the target quantity is flexible, provide a practical range and the priority that cannot change.

Use the packaging RFQ checklist or complete packaging brief. OULU then reviews live availability, MOQ, samples, fit, price and schedule for that exact project instead of offering a number detached from the requested set.
