A request for one generic sample can create false confidence because the glass shape, pump fit, decoration and retail box may still be unapproved. Name the sample route and the acceptance points before it is prepared or shipped.
The sample should retain the exact SKU, component references, artwork version and finish direction used in the review. A visually similar bottle or random printed reference is useful only when its limited purpose is stated clearly.

Start a stock sample request with one exact bottle SKU
Use the published perfume bottle catalog to identify one exact SKU, capacity and photographed configuration. State whether the request is only for the glass bottle or for the bottle with its intended pump, collar and cap.
Include quantity, destination and the next decision after receipt. OULU can then confirm the applicable sample route, availability, cost, packing and timing for the defined request rather than treating a catalog image as a finished-pack approval.
Approve the bottle, sprayer, collar and cap as one assembly

Record which exact components were assembled for review. If functional tests or formula-contact checks are required, state the protocol, responsibility, sample quantity and acceptance criteria before assuming that a visual assembly has closed those questions.
Turn color and logo approval into measurable instructions
A decorated sample should carry the controlled artwork file, logo dimensions, location, orientation, process, color reference, transparency or coverage target and applicable surface standard. Compare the approved piece under agreed viewing conditions instead of relying only on a phone photograph or an undefined color name.
Use the decoration guide to separate screen printing, hot stamping, labels, coating, frosting and metallic directions. Record any accepted limit or revision so the bulk instruction does not depend on memory.
Build the box sample around the approved assembled bottle
The fitted cavity should follow the approved bottle with its intended pump, collar and cap. Confirm orientation, clearance, retention, finger access, presentation and the outer-box structure using the bottle and insert measurement guide.
If drop, vibration, compression or other transport checks are required, define the applicable test route and acceptance criteria. A good-looking presentation sample does not automatically establish protection for every shipment method or destination.
Create an approval record that survives the move to production
Photograph the approved sample, identify its date and version, and attach the bottle SKU, component list, artwork, color reference, box drawing and written acceptance notes. Identify any item that remains pending or is accepted only as a visual direction.
When a retained approval sample is applicable, define who keeps it and how it will be used during inspection. Bulk quality criteria, tolerances, packing and commercial terms still belong in the confirmed order documents rather than being inferred from the sample alone.
